My career in sports photography was born from the intersection of a Fine Arts degree, being Division I athlete, and my grandmother’s Canon A-1 film camera with a roll of TX 400 black and white film. I started shooting with that camera in college and have been a full-time professional photographer since 2008. I specialize in commercial and editorial sports photography with a strong focus on movement and high-impact imagery.
My background as an athlete gives me an instinctive understanding of movement and the discipline behind it, while my fine arts training shapes how I approach light, composition, and storytelling. My work is technically driven, with an emphasis on creating images that feel powerful and dynamic.
