Michelle VanTine has been a full-time photographer since 2008, working across the U.S. and internationally. Her work focuses on creating dynamic, powerful imagery for athletes and sports brands—images that elevate visibility, convey quality, and showcase strength and intensity.
Michelle has worked with many well-known sports brands and events and has photographed a wide range of athletes, including those in football, golf, MMA, obstacle course racing, synchronized swimming, skateboarding, gymnastics, equestrian polo, weight training, tennis, and more. Her subjects have included legendary NFL players such as Adrian Peterson, Mike Alstott, Patrick Willis, Donte Whitner, and Jonathan Stewart; MMA world champion Amanda Nunes; tennis icon Serena Williams; as well as other elite competitors in the Olympics, LPGA, ATP, World Polo Championships, and Miami Jai Alai. On the commercial side, Michelle has worked with various sports-related companies—from sports drinks to the American Physical Therapy Association.
She was featured as #5 on the list of “Top Sports Photographers in Miami” in 2019 and rose to "Top 4" in 2021—being the only woman featured both years. In 2022, she was ranked #3 among the “Top 12 Editorial Photographers” and named one of the “Top 7 Sports Photographers in Miami” in 2024.Michelle is also a photography writer for several major platforms including Fstoppers, Canon Rumors, and Imagen AI. With a degree in Fine Arts and a background as a former Division I athlete, she brings a distinctive perspective to her work—combining technical precision with a deep, firsthand understanding of athletic performance.
